• ‘Conga’ is the name of the percussion, dance and culture of carnival in Cuba.

• •Our workshops are designed to bring a little of the colour, excitement and fun of Cuban carnival to England, through the teaching of percussion, dance, song and carnival procession art.

• •Participants can be any age.  Everyone joins in carnival in Cuba, and everyone’s talents are recognised.  Jose  Ferrera Mulen is a master percussionist and an accomplished dancer, and is joined by a range of talented professionals – procession artists, face painters, musicians, dancers etc.

• •Our workshops are particularly popular with schools, with an emphasis on  the geography, history and culture of Cuban carnival; and with groups of people with learning difficulties, community groups etc.

• •Your party or other large event will benefit from the exuberance of Cuban carnival and participants will always remember their ‘conga’ experience.
